Brock O'Brien

D.O.B:
30 May 1988
Club:
Fremantle
Honours:
2006 NAB AFL Draft Pick No. 52
2007 AFL Debut

Brock is a dashing left footer who is also very aggressive and has good awareness. He is an AIS/AFL Academy graduate who in 2006 played senior football for Peel Thunder at WAFL level. He also represented WA at U18 level in the same year.

In 2007, Brock continued his football development with the Dockers and Peel Thunder and managed to debut in Round 22 against Port Adelaide. His debut was described as magnificent with his 16 possessions being a shining light.

The young left-footer only managed to play 2 games during 2008 due to an injury interrupted year and unfortunately had a set-back at the beginning of 2009 after injuring an AC joint in his shoulder during Fremantle’s NAB Challenge match against the Kangaroos which kept him off the track for a while.

O’Brien provides plenty of run out of defence and is hard at the contest therefore making him suitable for both a defensive or midfield type role.
