Congratulations to the four Stride boys who were selected in the 2008 International Rules squad of 25 to play against Ireland in Perth and Melbourne in late October.

Port Adelaide’s Daniel Motlop, West Coast’s Adam Selwood and the Kangaroos’ Matt Campbell and Michael Firrito have all been selected in the squad and will be out to regain the Cormac McAnallen trophy which Ireland won in 2006.

Well done to Adam Selwood who also represented Australia in the 2006 series in Ireland.

It is a great achievement by these players to be given the opportunity to represent their country and the team at Stride would like to wish them all the best for the two test series.

The games will be played at Subiaco Oval on October 24th and the MCG on October 31st.
