DOB:

Club:
Geelong
Honours:
2007 NAB AFL Rookie Draft, Pick No. 32
2009 Promoted Rookie
2009 AFL Debut

Jeremy is a talented and versatile player who is strong overhead. Standing at 189 cm tall and weighing 79kg, Jeremy is a small/medium forward.

In 2007, Jeremy played for both VIC Metro in the NAB U18 Championships and the Calder Cannons. Capping off a fantastic year, Laidler won the Best and Fairest Award for the Cannons and showed enough confidence and maturity on and off the field to suggest he can develop into an important option at either end of the ground.

At the end of 2007, Jeremy was drafted to Geelong and managed to play 18 VFL games in the 2008 season. After consistently showing strong form throughout the 2009 AFL Season, Jeremy was elevated to the senior list against the Brisbane Lions.

Laidler made his debut in defence playing against the Lions twin towers, Jonathan Brown and Daniel Bradshaw, which was a massive learning experience for the former Calder Cannons junior. Jeremy shows lots of promise for the Cats & is hoping to force his way into the senior side.
