A strong and athletic defender who can also rotate through the midfield, Jack has represented Vic Metro at both Under 16 and Under 18 levels. An AIS/AFL Academy graduate, Jack was an elite junior swimmer before focussing on football once he was nominated by the Gold Coast as a priority pick.

Missing the first three games for Vic Metro with a broken hand in 2009, Jack returned for the remaining two games to illustrate his dominance in the back half providing his Metro team-mates with plenty of run out of defence.

Jack’s swimming background should help him make a seamless transition into elite level training with the GC17 and will provide the Club with the leadership and culture they are looking for.
