Lachie represented South Australia at the NAB AFL U18 Championships. After an impressive performance at the carnival, earned himself a place in the seniors with the Glenelg Football Club and debuted against Port Adelaide.

Although a relatively small midfielder, Lachie has incredible athletic ability and is clever with the ball which sees him tackle hard and use his body to win the contested football. 

The young South Australian has made a promising start to his AFL career. He made his debut in round 4 against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium, coming on as a substitute in the win. Lachie enjoyed 11 games in 2012 where he found his feet and impressed with his hard running and defensive efforts. In 2013 Lachie will hope to play a full season and continue to develop into a regular senior player.
