Lauchlan is an elite short distance runner originally from Ararat. He has previously competed at the Stawell Gift and placed at the Ararat Gift. In 2011 Lauchlan using his athletic prowess turned his concentration primarily on football with North Ballarat, which has certainly paid off.

With Dalgleish’s pace from the contest and in the open space, mixed in with his long penetrating kick, Lauchlan has the ability to break games open within a short amount of time. With plenty of football development left in his game, he will look make an impact sooner rather than later at senior level.
